Janessa Leone only uses wool that is sustainable and cruelty-free. The 100% virgin wool is taken from a lamb’s first shearing, producing the softest, finest wool. The wool is cleaned, scoured, and dyed in their employee-owned factory in the United States. From shearing the wool to hand polishing a finished body, the hats pass through 50 skilled artisans’ hands.
